Today our vision of vampires is, quite frankly, screwed up. You might be surprised to know that proper Vampires aren't supposed to be in love triangles with Werewolves and Teenage girls. Nor do they sparkle in the sun like a god. I know, shocking, but that's just how it is. I know a few people who are in love with the twilight movies, and that's why it's so refreshing to find a vampire movie that has cute vampires that actually act like real vampires. I recently watched 'Interview With a Vampire', a 1994 film that stars an unreasonably good looking Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise plays Lestat a very charming, yet sadistic, Vampire. However, beloved Lestat is not our main character in this movie, but he is very close to it. Louis, played by young Brad Pitt, is the main character of this story. Louis is attacked by Lestat and given a choice, become a vampire or die a slow painful death. Louis becomes a vampire but is unsatisfied and disgusted by his new life. He doesn't approve and feel's guilty if he takes a life by drinking the blood of a human. The entire movie is actually Louis recounting his life story to a reporter. The entire movie is wonderful and easily one of my favorite. Lestat was my favorite character of the whole movie. Tom Cruise was the perfect image of a vampire, way better than Edward. No matter how epic Edward's eyebrows are...I really don't like Twilight. I don't know much about Tom Cruise or his movies, but I do know that he is down right good looking in this movie. I mean I'm 16 and I don't have any celebrity crushes, but sweet Cthulhu he's hot in this movie. I can't express how good looking he is so just see for yourself. See what I mean?
I loved this movie, not just because of Tom Cruise, but also cause it was just fantastic. The story was amazing, as was the acting, even the emotional moments were good. But despite all that I came out of the movie thinking '#HotTomCruise'...Damn you teenage Hormones.

Interview With a Vampire
“None of us really changes over time. We only become more fully what we are.”
